Book I: Hearts at Stake

(a.k.a. My Love Lies Bleeding)

A Romantic Times Top Pick!

On Solange’s sixteenth birthday, she is going to wake up dead. As if that’s not bad enough, she also has to outwit her seven overprotective older brothers, avoid the politics involved with being the only daughter born to an ancient vampire dynasty, and elude Kieran Black—agent of an anti-vampire league who is searching for his father’s killer and is intent on staking Solange and her entire family. Luckily she has her own secret weapon—her human best friend Lucy. Lucy is willing to defend Solange’s right to a normal life, whether she’s being smothered by her well-intentioned brothers or abducted by a power-hungry queen. Two unlikely alliances are formed in a race to save Solange’s eternal life—Lucy and Solange’s brother Nicholas, and Solange and Kieran Black — in a dual romance that is guaranteed to jump start any romance-lover’s heart.

I’m so glad you wrote these books and am excited to get my hands on the second and third. Already on the waiting list at the library :) Thanks for writing these! You totally deserved the nomination for the 2011 White Pine. Please say you’ll come for the author workshop for it in April!! It’d be an honour to meet you

    • thanks so much! i’m booking school visits for White Pine and I think I’m doing a workshop on the day of as well :)

YES! sorry for the late reply. I finished reading Out for Blood last weekend before school started again. It was AMAZING! I went through Blood Feud so fast ’cause I couldn’t wait to read them all, but after finishing the third one, I was SO sad since I have to wait nearly a year for your next book to come out :( But I’m glad that you’re coming to the White Pine gathering. I would LOVE to have you sign a copy of my books :D Would totally make the wait for the next one worth it! Keep up the good work!

P.S. are you planning to write a book for every single brother? Or are you ever going to write a book with just Kieran and Solange? I feel that they can have their own very interesting story, in my opinion, especially where you left off with Solange in the third book! Am so impatient to find out what’s going to happen next! D:
