Alyxandra Harvey please could you tell me if Haunting Violet is part of the Drake Chronicles only after reading Out for Blood Haunting Violet pops up and it looks like it the next book in the series and as i have now read the first three books and i am about to start reading Bleeding Hearts i need to know if Haunting Violet is before or another series of yours x

“Haunting Violet” was an awesome and amazing book, I fell in love with it! It was also my very first read by you, but it won’t be my last.
“Haunting Violet” is a mystery, intriguing and ghost story from beginning to end, with a beautiful Victorian yet Gothic setting and love story. You did an astonishing job describing 1800s England, from the clothing, words said, area and surroundings. I think its important the author gets this right otherwise it wont be effect. The smog, the people and the clothing were all very realistic and at times I felt like I was right in the middle of the Lord’s estate or the city streets of London. The plot is amazing, Dramatic twists, turns, mysterious, haunting moments. The pace was amazing the tone was dramatic and energetic.
Over the course of the novel, Violet and Colin turn their friendship into a sweet romance. Their romance could have been more developed and intense in my own opinion. Furthermore, I wish you could provide us with more details about some characters and background information the reader needs to know. Throught my reading, I kept waiting to hear more about Colin since his background was never fully explained. It just never happened. The characters were likeable though, even without knowing them well.
I hope that in the sequel, safely hidden somewhere in your house, will come out one day (soon) !!!
