A Breath of Frost was shortlisted for the 2015 Sunburst Award. Thank you!

“Filling her latest with a large cast of characters— from the society elite to the magical world’s dark underbelly—Harvey (Haunting Violet, 2011) keeps up the action and clever dialogue as the protagonist, Emma, deals with high-class mean girls, familial secrets, and a confusing crush. A smashing blend of adventure, fantasy, humor, romance, and historical fiction.—  Booklist

“A successful blend of Regency and paranormal romance.” Kirkus Reviews

“Harvey (Haunting Violet) develops an elaborate fantasy world filled with whimsy, magic, and love …. Spell casting and paranormal creatures enliven this Regency fiction, which offers a cast of strong, witty women fighting for a higher good, all while finding romance, dressing up prettily, and going to lots of parties.” Publishers Weekly

“History, romance, and witchcraft make for a combination that is sure to lure readers into the story, the first in a new series about witches in nineteenth-century London. The book will appeal to those who were fans of Libba Bray’s Gemma Doyle series and the Twilight Saga by Stephenie Meyer.” -VOYA

A Breath of Frost: Beyond the manicured gardens and ballrooms of Regency London lies a dangerous, alluring underworld accessible only to those with magical power. While evading fortune-hunters and marriage proposals, they must unravel a dark family secret – one that reveals why, until now, their magical skills have been concealed; one that brings them face to face with a deadly foe . . .
The charming and irresistible Cormac Fairfax is willing to help. But can she trust a keeper of the Order who has secrets of his own to hide?

The Lovegrove Legacy, Book 2:
Whisper the Dead: Gretchen is struggling with her newfound gift as a Whisperer; the constant buzzing in her ears from detecting spells is more frustrating than fun, especially when she is spending time with one of the Order of Iron Nail’s Keepers, the icy but strikingly handsome Tobias Lawless. But while Gretchen tries to hide the truth and resolve her feelings for him, London fades from beautiful and bustling to deathly silent …Something evil is once again menacing Mayfair, and Gretchen and her cousins must use their powers to prevent a horrible sacrifice.

  1. Why didn’t you make a hardcopy of the last book?!!!! I love Gretchen and Tobias and Emma and Cormac and Penelope and Cedric!! I don’t want the last story to be a short one!!!

    1. thank you! Unfortunately, the publisher declined to continue the series, so a self-published novella was my gift to the readers so they wouldn’t be stuck with the cliffhanger of book 2!

  2. Is the book in a house made of bones and teeth available in ebooks ? If not than were else could I try to get it from

  3. in your books you mentioned something about the white lady (being released from the market? I’m not sure its been a while since I read the books) and other mythical beings, I was wondering where these were from as I got interested and looked them up but never found anything.
sorry if this is an inconvenience, its just that I really love this kind of thing

  4. I can’t get hold of ‘in a house of teeth and bones’ in the uk, so will they be available on Amazon.co.uk or in British book stores? Also is they the last book in the trilogy?
